Use only the Petal Infant Car Seat that came with your Omni or Touri purchase. The Omni Travel System and the Touri Travel System each come with their own specially designed version of the Petal Infant Car Seat. These car seats are NOT interchangeable. Should you need to replace your car seat, you must purchase the car seat that was originally sold with your travel system.
Yes. The Petal Infant Car Seat conforms to all applicable federal motor vehicle safety standards. It is certified for use in motor vehicles and aircraft. However, it is not intended to be used in low-speed vehicles such as golf carts, ATV’s or any other non-certified vehicle.
No. While there may be no visible damage, the forces at work in even the smallest accident could damage the structural integrity of your car seat, causing it to malfunction in the event of another accident or sudden stop. If your Petal Infant Car Seat is involved in an accident, you should replace it immediately.
